- The thumb of the hand holds the part with the smaller distance between the teeth.
- The second part, with a wider distance between the teeth, hold the index or middle finger, or two together.
- In order to quickly and efficiently remove the clerical staple, we bring the part with a smaller distance between the teeth under the bracket.
- Then we begin to compress the “jaws” so that the part with a wide distance between the teeth goes under the bracket on the other side.
- Slightly squeeze the tool to the end. Ready. Bracket removed.
If all the steps are performed correctly, the removed bracket will bounce off, and two small neat holes from its legs will remain on the material.
How to store the staple remover after use?
Some anti-staplers are equipped with a latch - a latch that allows you to store this tool in a closed state, if, for example, it lies in a desk drawer. In the case of frequent use of the anti-stapler and the need to always have it "at hand", it is more convenient to hang it on any device, for example, by hooking it on the edge of the stationery organizer. Remember to keep the teeth of the device clean, otherwise the process of removing the staple will leave traces of contamination on the document.
