This continues until they grow a new shell.
Shrimp Amanobreeding should take place in a separate aquarium with fresh water (temperature - 28-29 degrees). In a separate aquarium, no one will bother them, which means they have nothing to be afraid of. The shrimp will begin to actively mate, and later the female will have bags with caviar. One bag can contain from 2 to 4 thousand eggs.
Fry hatching lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. At this time, the female regularly cleans the eggs and transfers them from bag to bag. A few days before hatching, the eggs become much lighter than usual. Then it is necessary to transplant the female into a separate container, where almost microscopic larvae will hatch.
Newborn larvae can only be seen under a microscope. You can also see under it how, from the very first day, the fry actively begin to feed, eating microorganisms and other food in the aquarium. Breeding Amano shrimp in an aquarium requires special conditions. In the first few weeks, once the fry have become independent, they need s alted water. If this condition is neglected, then the larvae will die already on the fourth day.
