When is the hot glue gun ready to go? First, you should insert the rod into a cold tool and plug it into an outlet. Next, you need to wait about five minutes and pull the trigger so that glue appears on the spout. The gun is ready! All that is required of you now is to pull the trigger to apply glue. If you work for a long time, sometimes let the gun rest.

Glue sticks for the thermal gun are also different: transparent, white, black, multi-colored. How do they differ and which ones are right for you? Transparent rods are considered universal, and are only suitable for gluing. white,black and yellow are specialized, each of them is used for specific purposes. Ecoflo rods are used for decoration.

When one ends, you need to insert the next one and continue working. If you suddenly need to change an unused rod for another one, plug in the hot glue gun and let it warm up. Grasp it with two fingers, scroll around its axis several times and pull it out of the gun.

When working with this tool, be aware of the high temperature of the glue, nozzle and the gun itself. Be very careful. Also, do not forget that you can only use glue on objects that will not succumb to hot effects, as already dried glue can melt and float.
