This term was introduced over forty years ago. What does he mean? Transsexuals (their photos are presented in this article) are people who reject their nature all their adult lives, that is, men hate their masculine essence (character traits, dominance, body structure), and women hate their feminine nature (body structure, duties, temperament). For the most part, such a disease affects the strong half of humanity.
How to recognize them?
People who reject their nature can be roughly divided into three categories:
- passive (they take no action and try to suppress their desires);
- passive-active (such people do not dare to undergo plastic surgery and any other drastic measures and most often just use clothes of the opposite sex);
- active (they take female hormones, go under the knife to change their body, and completely reject their natural beginnings).
Don't confuse transgender people with gay people (e.g.
homosexuals). In terms of sexual contacts, they are attracted precisely to people like themselves, but with heterosexual inclinations. For example, a transsexual man who rejects his masculinity feels like a woman, and, accordingly, he is attracted to men with a normal sexual orientation.
Reasons
Changes in the human body, leading to the fact that a person is not able to combine his mind and biological essence together, occur already when the baby is in the womb. They can be caused by abnormal development of chromosomes, causing a violation of the formation of hormonal balance. Taking birth control after pregnancy can also cause abnormal human development.
Treatment
Transsexuals - who are they? About 40 years ago, transsexualism was considered a type of some mental illness, but later it was identified as a separate disorder, independent of the pathologies of the brain and central nervous system. There is no such treatment. Depending on the degree of the disease, it can manifest itself in different ways. For religious reasons and because of the unwillingness to upset their loved ones, people who suffer from it deliberately suppress their instinctsopposite sex and sometimes even quite successfully. They can start families and lead normal lives. But few succeed, and more often transsexuals do not hide their nature, agreeing to sex change operations, after which some of them even manage to get married / marry and lead a full life.
