Glenn Doman's method, like any other, has its drawbacks. First of all, it is passive learning, lack of creativity and creation. Moreover, constant stress on the brain can lead to mental disorders.

Therefore, using only one method for training is notrecommended. It is better to combine several early development programs. And do not forget that a child is not a computer. Be sure to leave time for other games and pampering.

Undoubtedly, the method developed by the neurosurgeon Doman works. According to many educators, thanks to this program, you can bring up a genius. However, it is necessary to be guided by other teaching methods, be sure to leave time for creativity and independent knowledge of the world.

Most psychologists say that the Doman method, although it gives its results, has many drawbacks, the main of which is passivity. Only the visual and auditory systems develop, children cover only the material that is shown in the pictures. The child is loaded with facts that he cannot always apply.

Neurologist E. Melanchenko is against any method of early development. She explains this by the fact that the children's brain overflowing with information often malfunctions, and as a result, babies face problems such as headaches, neuroses, enuresis, etc. The psychological stress that children experience ahead of time leads to vasospasm and a number of other diseases.
