Wedding is one of those events that are unique. After all, no one thinks that he will marry or remarry. So a wedding with full responsibility can be attributed to those holidays that happen only once in a lifetime. The idea of a wedding should be a reflection of the "world" of these men and women and their relationship. Probably, the choice of wedding style depends not only on the fantasy, aesthetic ideas of the bride and groom, but also on their general "feeling of life." Not every couple will make such a choice - a wedding in vintage style. After all, such a wedding will require a very large amount of information, knowledge and skills. This does not only mean "unusual wedding": ideas for such a wedding need to be invented by yourself, and most of the details are made by hand. And such an approach will certainly require certain knowledge, skills and abilities.

A vintage style wedding, as an event to organize, is not very different from a regular wedding:

1. Creative part: development of the general concept of the wedding, development of the scenario, development of the general style.

2. Organizational part: site selection, route development, organizationtransportation, selection of a photographer, videographer, stylist, toastmaster, selection of a dress and suit, drawing up a list of guests, ordering invitations, decorations for the hall, cars, selection of menus, compiling a music sheet and selecting musical equipment and a DJ, drawing up a general budget.

However, a vintage-style wedding will require large investments both in terms of finances and in terms of fantasy and personal time.

You should start by deciding on a theme. That is, it is necessary to decide what time the vintage style wedding will belong to:

• to the 1930s;
• 1940-1950s;
• 1960-1970s;
• Victorian.

After that, it's better to "plunge" into the life that happened then. Old photographs, for example, can help you "feel" that time. After looking through wedding fashion magazines, you can decide on the models of dresses and suits, then choose the melodies of the corresponding style. Having found postcards, see what design, what colors and what ornaments are more suitable for a wedding. It is necessary to choose the main motif, for example, for the 1970s, this is the geometric shape of the crystal.

The era is expressed as if with broad bright strokes, although you can completely "lose" a wedding in one style or another. Throughout the holiday, details should be striking. In the Victorian era, the motif of birds was very fashionable. At the entrance, for example, you can put a cage with canaries, and napkin holdersdecorate with feathers, there should also be birds on the name cards. Accordingly, the main element of the decor will be feathers. Although you should not limit yourself to one element, you should also not select more than three.

Menu should also reflect the era. Of course, it's nearly impossible to make an entire banquet out of recipes from, say, the 1940s, but it's possible to find a cookbook to make wedding cake and desserts or appetizers.

In general, if you are organizing a vintage wedding, you need to consider the following points:

1. All decor elements must match the style of the chosen era.
2. You need to choose two or three colors that determine the overall color scheme.
3. The main decor motif must be identified.
4. We need to work out the main elements of the decor.

And joy, and smiles, and guests, and surprise, and delight, and forget-me-not flowers - this is a vintage wedding day!
