In any modern closet or dressing room, a special device is used to hang clothes. This is the so-called rod, which is a metal pipe of round or oval section. Wardrobe items are hung on a coat hanger, which greatly facilitates the search for the desired item and ensures the convenience of its placement.

Types and their functionality

The clothes rail is easy to use, more spacious and attaches to the walls of a closet or dressing room. In addition to the longitudinal one, there is a transverse version of the design, complicated by the fact that it can be extended or retracted if necessary. A retractable device is often used with a special device (pantograph), with which you can raise or lower things to a certain height (not exceeding 2 meters).

Typical rod for clothes can be oval classical type and round. The oval one is fixed inside the cabinet on a rod holder and is able to withstand severe loads, for example, whenhanging on her a lot of outerwear.

As for the second option, the round bar for clothes is fixed with flanges. A round design can also withstand heavy loads, but for openings that are wider than 60 cm, it is much more reliable to install an oval version of the rod.

Microlift and pantograph

When you need to place wardrobe items in a closet, the depth of which is less than 55 cm, then a retractable rod for clothes, otherwise a "microlift", is acceptable. Such a device is just right for a narrow cabinet and has the ability to change the direction of the transverse hanging of wardrobe items. The sizes for the pop-up rod are from 25 cm to 50 cm.

In addition to the microlift, a pantograph lift is used, that is, a clothes hanger bar, which must be placed under the very top of the cabinet. This design lowers the pantograph bar to an optimally comfortable height, so that it is convenient to remove or, conversely, hang shirts, blouses, jackets on hangers. A similar mechanism is used when the closet or dressing room is too high and you want to hang things on the top tier.

If the guests came over

There is another type of hanger - a clothes rail on wheels, which is mobile and can be freely placed in a room, dressing room, loggia, for example, if you need to dry washed shirts. Since it is easy to move from place to place, it is widely used in dressing rooms, shops,atelier.

Some designs are retractable, which is very convenient, for example, for receiving guests when there is no way for them to allocate a whole closet. On such a hanger you can hang all the necessary items for a weekend or festive costume and its attendant attributes, such as:

• hat;
• shoes;
• tie;
• scarf;
• bag;
• coat;
• cloak and more.

Now you don't have to look for your favorite blouse or shirt for a long time, you can open the closet or go into the dressing room and in no time get an ironed, conveniently located thing hanging on a coat hanger.
