Sled-carriage is the best winter transport for the little ones

We all know for certain that in snowy winters it is much easier to ride a baby on a sled than in a stroller, even if it has large wheels and good cross-country ability. Unfortunately, the reality is that the paths are not always cleared, not to mention the periods when it is snowy outside.

So, sled! Riding them is one of the favorite children's activities in the winter. There are many variations of them on the modern market - from the usual metal ones with a wooden crate to all kinds of models made of plastic.

You can also choose sledges made of wood, snow scooter sleds equipped with a swivel steering wheel, plastic ice sleds designed for descending slides. Many appreciated models equipped with a push handle, thanks to which the sled can be pushed in front of you.

Parents of very young children, those who have only recently learned to sit, are attracted to the sled-carriage. This invention combines the best qualities of a stroller and a sled. For many children's sled-carriages become the most convenient means of transportation. An important plus, in addition to patency, is the weight of the structure. Howas a rule, they are several times lighter than any stroller.

Sled-carriage has the following design features:

For example, sometimes a wheelchair sled provides for the possibility of changing the position of the back, which is an important point for very young passengers. Versatile models are equipped with small wheels that make it easy to transport the sled across the road or use it to move around the store.

They are mainly used for very young children, and for grown-ups, more complex models are used that allow them to ride downhill on their own. Some parents prefer to carry grown children in such sleds, especially if the weather outside is windy and frosty.
