By the way, near Kyiv in 2015 it was also opened on the basis of the Pushcha-Ozernaya sanatorium "Artek", which has the status of an international camp. "Artek. Ozerny" was opened back in 1962 on June 23, and since then this place has been very popular. There has never been a shift where there would be at least one vacancy. Wishing to relaxthere was always much more than the number of seats. Each shift the camp can take 475 children.

"Ozerny" is one of the camps that belong to the "Pribrezhny" complex (there are four in total).

Since the opening, some buildings have fallen into disrepair, and in 2015 a major reconstruction of the entire complex was carried out. At the same time, the work was not carried out in the summer, and this year the children also had the opportunity to relax in the named camp.

Residence conditions

"Artek. Ozerny" has five buildings for children. Each building is named after a famous Russian lake - Seliger, Balkhash, Ilmen, Sevan and Baikal.

Two-storey buildings are located in a beautiful and green park area overlooking the picturesque bay. Each building accommodates two or three detachments.

The rooms are equipped with modern furniture. Each child is provided with a separate bedside table. The beds are mostly bunk beds, and built-in wardrobes (two for everyone living in the room). The number of children per room is usually six to seven.

On especially hot days, the air conditioning system is turned on in buildings. Facilities (shower rooms and toilets) are located on each floor.

A doctor and a nurse are on duty at the camp around the clock. Six meals a day - includes breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and second dinner. On the secondbreakfast and afternoon tea usually give fruits and sweets, and the second dinner is a glass of kefir before bed.

Children's program

Every day is full of activities and entertainment for children. Experienced teachers and educators work with them. The program includes three main areas:

1. Sports. Children are engaged in physiotherapy exercises in a specially equipped hall or on the street on the playground, play such sports games as football, pioneer ball, basketball, volleyball and so on. An individual approach is selected for each child - his state of he alth and general well-being are taken into account.
2. Intellectual. They play board games with the guys that develop the mind, thinking and logic. Various thematic quizzes are held. Winners are awarded certificates of honor and medals, although there are no losers here.
3. Entertainment. Entertainment groups periodically come to "Artek. Ozerny" and delight children with their performances. It can be incendiary dances or a circus performance or tricks. Also, children watch interesting children's films in the cinema of the camp. In the evenings, two-hour discos take place every other day.

Among other things, teachers are engaged in the spiritual education of children. They teach them to be friends, help each other out in difficult situations and help the weak. There are rules that say that you can’t offend others and lose your own face under any circumstances.
