They do not increase the dimensions of the tool, have a small weight. Another indisputable advantage of this category is low prices. You can buy an ordinary "rag" case for a guitar for only 500-1000 rubles. Remember that this is not the best option for tools that are regularly moved from place to place. The fabric cover does not protect against impacts. But dirt and dust are not terrible for your guitar in it. And if you choose a bag made of fabric with water-repellent impregnation, you can walk without fear with a guitar in the rain or invery wet weather.

If you plan to take the instrument with you often, it makes sense to choose a soft guitar case. In addition to the fabric base, bags of this type have a foam layer. Of course, such a case is less reliable than a hard case, but with sharp blows it is much more effective than a regular soft bag. Pay attention to the design and the presence of functional elements when choosing a case. The case should have short handles for carrying in the manner of a bag and a shoulder strap. Pockets for small things will also be useful. It is very convenient to always have picks, sheet music, cleaning cloths and electric guitar cords on hand.

Expensive tool - expensive and reliable protection. Hard cases are called cases. Such cases even remotely no longer resemble ordinary fabric bags. They are made of plastic, genuine leather or even wood, have reliable metal fittings. The case can follow the shape of a guitar or resemble a regular, somewhat elongated suitcase. The option of carrying behind the back, as a rule, is not provided - only carrying in the hands. How much does this type of guitar case cost? Do not be surprised if the price of a hard case is about 1/3 of the cost of the instrument. However, cases made in China from plastic and leather substitute can cost as little as 1-2 thousand rubles.

For home storage of musical instruments, you can purchase a special cabinet or a beautiful display case. If abuying such a luxury is not yet in your plans, a regular acoustic guitar case will help out. Do not forget that, like a tool, the case requires careful handling and proper care. Do not forget to clean the case in the way recommended by the manufacturer as it gets dirty. Check the condition of clasps, handles and straps and repair as needed.
