Option number 1. Marshmallow mastic

Probably the most popular recipe used by most decorators. And no wonder, because wedding cakes made from mastic prepared according to this recipe are the most delicious. For this, you will need 2 tablespoons of water, a cup of marshmallows and half a cup of powdered sugar. Place the marshmallows in a glass dish, add water and microwave for20 seconds. As soon as the sweets are inflated, they need to be vigorously stirred. After that, add the powdered sugar, sifted through a sieve. You need to knead the mass until it becomes homogeneous, soft and pliable. For greater elasticity, you can add a little butter. When the mastic is ready, roll it into a ball, wrap in cling film and leave for about half an hour.

Option number 2. Gelatin mastic

You will need 50 grams of starch, 500 grams of powder, 6 grams of gelatin, a few drops of lemon juice and water. Soak gelatin and add lemon juice. While the mixture swells, mix the starch with the powder. Add gelatin and mix with a mixer. After that, wrap the mastic with a film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. It must be borne in mind that this mastic dries very quickly, therefore, when working with it, it is important to cover the main part with a napkin or film. After complete drying, the products are very durable and hard, so wedding mastic cakes can be decorated with a wide variety of figures and not be afraid for their safety.

Option number 3. Marzipan

For cooking you will need 200 grams of granulated sugar, 300 grams of ground sugar

almonds, zest of two lemons, 2 egg whites and a few drops of almond extract. Peel the almonds, dry them and grind them finely. All dry ingredients must be mixed, add proteins and almond extract. You must take out the plastic dough and wrap it in a film. Firstmarzipan may seem too sticky to you, but after an hour in the refrigerator it will no longer be so. Marzipan wedding cakes can be dyed any color.

Option number 4. Flower mastic

Take 250 grams of powdered sugar, a teaspoon of glucose, 2 teaspoons of gelatin and water. Pour the gelatin and put it in the microwave or in a water bath. It is important that it does not boil. Add glucose, powdered sugar. Then spread the mixture on a surface strewn with powder, and knead the mass until it becomes sticky. Wrap in cling film and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
