• Soap solution. With soaking in this tool, you must begin any cleaning. Sometimes this work is enough. Warm water and shavings of laundry soap are added to the basin. It can be replaced with dishwashing detergent. Items are soaked until the liquid cools. Then the items must be washed under clean water.
• Hot vinegar. If copper and brass items have stains, then hot vinegar will help remove them. The product must be heated, moisten a cotton pad in it and wipe the object. Work in a ventilated room as the smell is strong.
• Sandpaper. Sooted objects should be treated withsoft sandpaper. But then you need to perform dry cleaning of hard-to-reach areas.
• S alt and buttermilk. Buttermilk (0.5 liters) is mixed with fine s alt (1 tablespoon), after which everything must be mixed. The product is used for cleaning brass products. Then the item must be washed and dried.

The above methods are safe, but do not abuse them. Pure brass itself has an attractive sheen.
