One of the options for a secret, hidden weapon for your self-defense is, of course, a tactical pen! It can and should look like the most ordinary ballpoint (and, indeed, you can write with it if necessary).
Kustets for intellectuals
But at the same time, the tactical pen is quite large, it has a strong case made of titanium or steel (aircraft-grade aluminum is used as an option). This percussion item is a "knuckles" type weapon. It is designed for lightning-fast strikes at such vulnerable points of the human body as the temple, joints, ribs, eyes, nose. Moreover, such a weapon as a tactical pen can be constantly carried with you, since formally it is not such, and its appearance does not cause fear and suspicion among others.
In addition to the pronounced "impact" effect, a tactical pen is often equipped with a special device for breaking glass (on the cap). Sometimes the body is made of hard wood, but this is already "gourmet". As a result, we have "yawara" (traditional martial arts) for urban conditions, which does not raise questions from law enforcementorgans, but at the same time quite effective!
Who needs it?
To all those who, due to the specifics of their habitat and work, need self-defense from a more physically developed opponent. Blows to the collarbone, to the joints, to the ribs will very quickly force the opponent to be more prudent. And a hit in the temple or nose can even send the attacker to the next world! But if you are an office worker, the classic octagonal yawara in a jacket pocket or in a purse will look, you see, very grotesque. But a tactical pen can be freely carried in a jacket pocket, purse, wallet or handbag.
How to use?
Knowing what a tactical pen is, you must also be able to use it correctly. There are no problems if you have ever done martial arts. If not, then it's time to start! Practice: to begin with, clench the pen into a fist and try to hit a thick cutting board hard with your hand, for example. Moreover, after applying your blow, the javara should remain in the hand without flying out. Do five or ten practice hits at a time. So you will quickly "feel" the weapon. And best of all, sign up for an aikido section and start training under the guidance of a specialist.
You need to choose a tactical pen so that it matches your ideas about taste and design. But it is also necessary that the yawara fits well in the hand and is as comfortable as possible.
