But in fact, they have nothing to do with cats. In fact, domestic lynxes are an artificially bred breed. It was created by crossing a cat of a certain, suitable coloration with a Canadian lynx, which is quite small in size, unlike the rest of its relatives. Due to their small size, this particular breed was chosen. From the cat of the domestic lynx got the character, and the appearance, respectively, from the lynx. While this breed is extremely rare, and not everyone can afford such a luxury.

What do these adorable animals look like?

Cats (domestic lynxes, that is) are very similar to the real Canadian lynx. This is their main feature. In other words, it's just a big cat with a short tail, pronounced musculature, long legs. And of courseon the other hand, domestic lynxes have familiar tassels at the end of their ears. This is probably the main element that makes a trot a trot. This breed has a thick, short coat with various shades of brown. In general, if you have never met domestic lynxes, a photo of an ordinary Canadian lynx is perfect. This is almost an exact copy.

Lynx at home

Unlike wild animals, which are kept at home in special cages, domestic lynxes were created in order to live next to a person without any special restrictions. But, nevertheless, for the animal should be allocated its own territory, in which it will feel like a master. Also, ideally, this cat needs a tree, because genetically it has strong muscles that must develop. If it is not possible to equip a tree, then it is necessary to adapt at least some suitable objects that you can jump on and climb on. In nutrition, domestic lynxes are unpretentious. They can be fed the same as an ordinary cat, but only coarse components must be present so that the jaws also develop correctly. And, of course, natural food. Without it, the animal will not be he althy.

Dry food is not a good idea in this case if your pet's he alth is important to you. It is also necessary to periodically take care of the animal's hair, comb it out so that an unusual pet does not swallow the hair when it licks itself. For prevention, it is better to sometimes give special medicines forcleansing the intestines from wool. With proper care, care and love, a warm relationship can be established with a domestic lynx. But you should never forget that the wild instincts of this animal are still hiding somewhere at the genetic level and can wake up at any time under the influence of certain factors. Therefore, before starting such a pet, you need to think it over again, weighing all the pros and cons. This is especially true for families with children.
