Sexology considers heterosexuality and homosexuality as equal variants of human sexuality. It is believed that each of us cannot independently choose or change orientation. Many sexologists, who are also supported by some journalists, argue that sexual minorities should not be subjected to any discrimination.
Today there are biological and psychological theories of homosexuality. Biological theory explains homosexuality by congenital disorders of the brain, genetic programming or imbalance of hormones. The psychological theory explains the reason for the failure of the traditional orientation by wrong relationships in the family, lack of education, unfavorable conditions during adolescence, as well as the influence of others, the media.
According to the results of many psychological tests, most homosexuals are normally adaptedin society, they do not have mental disorders.
Who are bisexuals?
Heterosexuals and homosexuals have been widely studied by psychologists and sexologists for the last twenty years. Bisexuality, on the other hand, has been receiving more and more attention lately.
Until recently, some scientists generally denied the existence of bisexuality. They claimed that bisexuals are just secret homosexuals who are trying to position themselves as heterosexuals.
There is another version according to which all people are bisexual. But supposedly, these initial impulses are either suppressed by society (this applies to heterosexuals), or some early experience (among homosexuals).

So, from the above, it is clear what heterosexual means. In fact, this is a person who has sexual intercourse only with members of the opposite sex.
