These animals do not have a pronounced transition from the forehead to the muzzle. The muzzle itself is slightly elongated, the cranial bone is wide, the eyes are small oval, the ears are low-set, triangular in shape, the nose is black. According to the breed standard, the height at the withers of its representatives can vary from 71 to 81 centimeters, and the weight is from 40 to 65 kilograms. Karabash has a short, straight and very thick coat with a soft undercoat. In the neck area, the hair is longer than in other parts of the body, forming a kind of collar.
