Earlier, aluminum household items were mainly used in hiking (allwe remember those sweet silver bowls and mugs with bent edges and handles), but today preference is often given to plastic. But there are some dangers here: plastic utensils can easily let you down. Firstly, plastic is short-lived, and cracks can appear with a slight mechanical impact. And that's it, you can throw away the dishes. But there is one big plus in it: it is very light. Also, when damaged, it is not a pity to throw it away. And, as a rule, it is purchased for short trips or picnics. The prices for such goods are low.

Today, travel products are quite common products. And another important feature of camping utensils is its functionality and compactness. Paying tribute to the past, aluminum still remains one of the most common materials from which travel cookware is made. Its lightness and practicality make aluminum a versatile material. It can be heated, mechanically influenced, dropped - nothing will happen.

Another material that has found its niche in the tourism industry is stainless steel. It is characterized by low thermal conductivity, so a mug of such material can hardly burn your fingers. This type of cookware is more expensive than aluminum and, accordingly, plastic. But the most reliable and durable material is titanium. But here there are problems with the distribution of heat. But titanium is very light, great for those who count every gram on a hike (mountain tourism). The main disadvantage of titanium cookware is itshigh cost.

Compactness achieved through removable and foldable handles. And several pots and bowls can be assembled into a single pyramid (like a nesting doll). Folding knives are also used, which include spoons, forks, a can opener, etc.

Thus, travel utensils can have different properties, but they have one purpose - to make the trip the most comfortable and enjoyable. And the choice of material will depend on the goals of travelers.
