Mechanism for making a doll house

Let's consider the process from the inside. Let's turn to the simplest and fastest way - making a house out of a cardboard box. First of all you will need:

  • cardboard box;
  • cutter and scissors;
  • adhesive tape;
  • paint;
  • various materials for decorating rooms (wallpaper, fabric, paint, wrapping or colored paper, etc.)

First, create the frame and roof for the dollhouse.

Cut off the top of the box (the one that opens/closes it). Then we cut the product in half. As a result, two half-boxes and two pieces of cardboard were formed. We are still working with pieces of cardboard: from one we make the facade of the roof, from the second - the crossbar for the second floor. We fasten the cardboard with tape. Before pasting the delimiter of the first andsecond floors, make a cutout for the stairs. Cut out rectangular strips from the remaining half of the box, imitating the slopes for the roof of the dollhouse.

If you wish, you can make an attic. To do this, do not forget about the ceiling separating it from the second floor, as well as about the cutout for the hole for the stairs. Now we are modeling our house. First you need to mark up where the windows and the door will be located. Using a utility knife, cut holes according to the markings. Now it remains only to make the stairs and glue them with adhesive tape to the pre-made holes. Outside, the house is painted with a solid color, preferably light shades.

Second, finishing work.

Roof tiles can be cut out of colored paper. It will be very interesting to look if each element of the tile is made in a different color. Stick with ordinary PVA glue. Rooms can be decorated in different ways: the living room will look extravagant in textiles, wallpaper is better than ever for bedrooms, and bright wrapping paper for the bathroom. The steps on the stairs are best marked with a bright marker.

Third, furniture making.

Furniture is cut with scissors or a cutter. The parts are held together with glue. Here the fantasy is simply limitless: a bed, a wardrobe, a table, chairs, a chest of drawers, a TV, an armchair, stools, a sofa, a fireplace, wall paintings, kitchen appliances, etc.

And, into the undergrowth…

As you can see, making a dollhouse with your own hands is not so difficult. It is only necessarystock up on material, patience and great love for your child. As mentioned above, houses can be made from various materials. Of course, the toolkit changes a bit. For example, for a wooden dollhouse, drawings, a tape measure, and an electric jigsaw are additionally needed.
