First, create the frame and roof for the dollhouse.

Cut off the top of the box (the one that opens/closes it). Then we cut the product in half. As a result, two half-boxes and two pieces of cardboard were formed. We are still working with pieces of cardboard: from one we make the facade of the roof, from the second - the crossbar for the second floor. We fasten the cardboard with tape. Before pasting the delimiter of the first andsecond floors, make a cutout for the stairs. Cut out rectangular strips from the remaining half of the box, imitating the slopes for the roof of the dollhouse.

If you wish, you can make an attic. To do this, do not forget about the ceiling separating it from the second floor, as well as about the cutout for the hole for the stairs.
