Semi-rigid guitar cases are more practical. They protect the musical instrument well during falls and impacts on a hard surface. The disadvantage of this remedy is that it is heavier and more expensive.

A hard case for a guitar is a case, case or wardrobe trunk. They effectively protect the instrument from any kind of damage. These guards for stringed instruments are made of plastic, wood or leather. This type of case for a guitar (its price, of course, is quite high) is quite heavy and not very comfortable to wear, but the full protection of the instrument is worth it.

When shopping for a guitar case, consider the following guidelines.

• Let's make a reservation right away: the surest option would be to purchase a case along with the tool, so you can immediately choose a case that fits the shape or size. If you got the guitar much earlier, when going for a case, do not be too lazy to take the instrument withyourself. You can try everything on the spot and make the right choice.
• If you are a beginner self-taught musician, then a soft case is quite suitable for storing your guitar at home. Tougher protections for the instrument will be needed in case of frequent travel and transportation of the guitar from one place to another.
• If in the cold season you take a stringed instrument outside, then do not rush to immediately take it out of the case when you enter the room. Let it warm up to room temperature, and only then open it and use it for its intended purpose.

Every tool needs care and respect. Guitar cases are practical and necessary things to protect your instruments. They are useful not only when transporting the tool, but also in case of long-term storage.
