3. We take a piece of synthetic winterizer and cut out two "butterflies" from it.
4. Apply the front side of the quilted fabric (or padding polyester) to the wrong side of the chintz.
5. As a result, we get two blanks, which are folded with chintz inside and sewn with a basting stitch (“needle forward”).
6. Sew along the contour, stepping back from the edge of 0.5 cm.
7. Leave a small area unsewn for stuffing.
8. Turn inside out and iron the fabric.
9. Draw a circle in the middle and stitch it around the perimeter.
10. Fill the pillow with holofiber, evenly distribute it and sew it with a blind seam.

Sewing is easy, simple and fast

The simplest and most budget option is a regular square pillow. Even a beginner in this business can sew it. It is worth remembering that such children's pillows are from a year and older. Babies need orthotics.

We take any fabric you like 40x40 cm in size for the outer part of the pillow. For lining, take a calico of the same size. If there is a desire to decorate the pillow, then we select some decorative element and glue it with textile glue. We fix it with a zigzag along the edges.

Apply the resulting pieces of fabric with the right side to each other and sew (do not forget about the area for stuffing). We turn the product through the hole, align the edges and lay the filler. Sew up the remaining hole with a secretseam.

Another version of a simple pillow for a crib is a product made from scraps. To work, you need 18 small squares of multi-colored fabrics. We sew 9 patches together so that we get two large squares. We connect them with the front side to each other and fasten. We fill with filler and decorate with beautiful buttons, beads, laces, sequins.

Pillow toys

Any child will love to play with a pillow toy. Different colors of fabric will help him learn to distinguish colors, as well as get to know animals. Children usually like elephants, dogs, cats, tigers, giraffes, sheep, etc.

The product can be of any size. We choose the toy we like and make a pattern out of paper. Cut off a piece of fabric so that it is enough for both sides with allowances for the seams. We fold the segments with the right side to each other, apply the pattern and circle. We leave allowances for the seams (1 cm) and cut out the details. We fasten them with an overcast seam, and then sew them with a sewing machine. Leave a hole for stuffing, turn inside out and straighten.

Fill every detail with padding polyester and sew up the left holes. We sew them together to make a toy. We outline the future mouth, nose, mustache on the muzzle and embroider them with contrasting threads.

Letter pillows

• various decorations;
• sewing accessories (needles, threads, scissors).

The size of pillows depends on the length, width and height of the sides of the bed. The upper material should be dense, but natural (cotton, chintz). We decide on the size, shape of the pillows and transfer them to the pattern. Attaching the latter to the fabric, circle and cut out with allowances for the seams. We put the blanks with the right side to each other and sew, not reaching the edge. We turn inside outpillow, fill it with padding polyester and sew up the hole.

Decorate products with lace, ribbons or other accessories. But do not sew on beads and buttons - the baby will easily tear them off.

Knitted pillows

Children's decorative pillows can not only be sewn, but also knitted. Shapes and colors can be completely different.
