Currently, to determine the amount of any allowance, average earnings are calculated based on the results of the two calendar years that have passed before the year of maternity leave. For example, if a decree is issued in 2015, then the amounts earned in 2013 and 2014 will be taken into account in the calculation. If you worked in other organizations during this period, then you need to attach certificates of accrued amounts from these places of work to the application so that they are taken into account when calculating benefits. Inquiries, of course, are better to issue immediately upon dismissal, but even after they can always be taken from the accounting department of the organization, with the exception of cases when it no longer legally exists. In such a situation, a request is made to obtain information on earnings for previous years from the Pension Fund to the accounting department of the organization in which you currently work.
Way to increase your benefit amount
If a woman in the period used for the calculation was inmaternity leave, it is advisable to replace these years with others to increase the amount of benefits. Since a unified application form for maternity leave is not provided, it is written in free form and may have the following content:
Please grant me maternity leave from 2014-02-09 to 2015-19-01.
Please replace 2013 with 2011 when calculating average earnings for benefits, as I was on parental leave from July 15, 2012 to November 21, 2013 and did not receive wages during this period."

Increased maternity leave
