Betta is an aquarium cockerel fish, the content of which is simply obscene. This very unpretentious creature, which has an incredibly beautiful shape and color, belongs to the labyrinth subspecies, that is, those who have the ability to breathe atmospheric air. It is this fact that makes it possible to keep betta fish in aquariums without aeration.
Their natural habitat is the stagnant waters of Southeast Asia (Thailand, India, Indonesia). There are cases when they populate rice paddies, which have a depth of about 12-15 cm and are not distinguished by cleanliness.
