And despite the fact that Mathematician's Day in Russia is a holiday not recognized by the state, the scale of events dedicated to it is simply amazing. As a united friendly family, from kindergarteners to adult fans of this discipline, worthy cultural events are held from year to year.

On the other hand, this approach is not surprising at all. Our countryis famous for some of the best scientists in the world. And, as you know, any exact science begins with mathematics. The state has not yet reached the level where it could adequately reward its geniuses, so they decided to please themselves on their own, and at the same time remind the government of their existence.
