Manager's Day, which is celebrated on the first of November, began to be celebrated in our country relatively recently. But after all, the profession of a manager in itself cannot boast of an ancient origin. It stood out from a number of other labor occupations only at the end of the 90s, but even then the first managers did not at all pretend to celebrate their own day. However, time passed, the number of management representatives grew … And today there are no less of these hard workers than cashiers, or, say, accountants.

Project managers are sometimes singled out as a separate profession. The main task of these specialists is to plan the workflow so that each stage is carried out in a timely manner, competently and efficiently. Project management is called our future: after all, it allows you to create new products and opens up wide horizons in many areas of life.

And the third Wednesday of every September is the official holiday of the HR manager, or the day of the HR manager. Such specialists existed even in Soviet times, however, they were called personnel officers. To the duties of these peopleincluded making relevant entries in work books, making decisions about sending them on a well-deserved rest, compiling job descriptions and other non-dusty activities.

Modern HR managers solve completely different tasks. Their powers are much wider. And they include concern for the efficiency of the work of each employee of the company. A real manager knows that the main thing in any work is the end result. And the way to achieve it is good motivation. This is exactly what the HR manager creates: with the help of bonus incentives, pen alties, exhaustive job descriptions, etc.

Any good manager is a subtle psychologist and a competent politician. That is why on Manager's Day, employees remember not only the business, but also the personal qualities of these people.

Today, the profession of a manager has acquired a broad meaning. In many industries, salespeople in the department of household appliances, and consultants in car dealerships, and employees of travel agencies are also called managers. Therefore, the interpretation of the holiday itself may be different. Somewhere they celebrate the day of the sales manager, somewhere they officially celebrate the day of the head of the labor link.

But in most cases, Manager's Day is the only one for everyone. To accept congratulations from acquaintances and colleagues, all specialists who have this position in their work book consider it their duty. And it doesn't matter what a particular manager does - sells cell phones or runs a pharmacy,accepts orders for household chemicals or manages the fate of personnel in production. For each of them, qualities such as composure, sociability, the ability to make quick decisions, and resistance to stress are equally important.
