Many modern parents lead an active lifestyle, travel. And from a very early age, they take their children with them. For children, travel is the best school of development! This is an opportunity to spend more time with your parents, to see something new. But, of course, long trips with small children have a number of their own characteristics. Some parents, unable to find answers to questions that appear during planning, either prefer to leave the child with their grandmother, or refuse to travel at all.

One of them, lying on the surface, is the “problem of the toilet”, the lack of access to which can cause inconvenience to an adult, not to mention a child. There is a solution - a travel pot. This largely solves the problem, but there are also nuances. More about them below.

So what is a travel pot? There may be several options. Many parents solve the problem in the following way: they choose the lightest and, most importantly, the smallest potty in the store. For home use, you can choose the most convenient model - with a back, with a removable container, with some additional decorating elements. But a travel potty for children should be as simple and compact as possible - nothingsuperfluous. The only thing worth paying special attention to is its stability. Some manufacturers, in pursuit of lightness and small volume, forget about this quality.

This is the easiest and cheapest solution to the problem, but no matter how small the travel pot is, it still takes up a lot of space. Secondly, there may be a problem with the disposal of the contents and washing the container (if, again, there is no access to a public toilet or for another reason). This question can be solved by analogy with a folding pot, which is described below.

Another option is an inflatable travel potty. Its main advantages are lightness and compactness. But there are also a number of disadvantages. Firstly, it will take time to inflate it, and the child does not always warn of his desire in advance. Secondly, the inflatable structure is less stable than the plastic one.

The next option is a folding travel potty. This innovation appeared on our market quite recently and already pleases many of its owners. There are several manufacturers of these pots, and as interest in these products is growing, so are their choices. One of the most common is the Potette plus travel potty. It is a plastic base for a pot with folding legs. When disassembled, it is a flat plastic part that occupies a minimum of space and is very light in weight. Instead of a container, a special plastic bag is used. Just for the accountthe issue of disposal is easily solved - they removed it, tied it up and threw it away. Put on another bag if necessary. Some parents have become accustomed to using ordinary plastic bags rather than buying branded ones. This is often both easier and cheaper.

If necessary, you can take such a pot with you not only on a long trip, but also on a long walk. It fits easily in a women's bag, unfolds easily and quickly. At the same time, the design is reliable and stable. In addition, it can be used as a toilet seat. If you purchase a separate silicone insert, then such a pot can be used as a regular pot for home use.
