History of the camp "Chaika" (Alushta)

Camp"The Seagull", the photo of which you see in our article, maintains good traditions. Its history began in the distant 1965. In 1980, the architectural design of the camp was awarded the USSR State Prize. Throughout its existence, the camp has repeatedly become the winner of regional and all-Ukrainian competitions in the nomination "Children's he alth institutions".

Children are accommodated in five-bed rooms (eight per floor) in two buildings located in the green zone. The windows offer a gorgeous view of the sea and mountains. A he althy and tasty five meals a day includes a sufficient amount of seasonal berries and a variety of fruits.

Camp "Chaika" has its own beach, so the children organize morning and evening swimming at the time set by the management. At midday rest, the kids restore the energy spent on a walk, and the older guys either sleep or quietly discuss the events they have experienced and upcoming events and topics that excite their minds.

Concerts and holidays are in no way inferior to the capital's show programs. Thanks to the high professional experience of the staff of the Green Theater and the constant attention of the camp administration, many children go on stage for the first time and realize their creative abilities to the maximum.
