Every year on December 27, Russia celebrates one of the most important holidays of the country - the Day of the Rescuer. This date was not chosen by chance - in 1990, on this day, the Russian Rescue Corps appeared. In addition, this date is considered the date of the formation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which is why the Day of the Rescuer of Russia is celebrated on this day.
Emergency incidents and situations arise all the time: forest fires, explosions in houses, pipeline failures, fires in factories and factories, releases of radioactive and chemical substances, or large-scale accidents on railways. These situations cannot be listed. And regardless of whether an epidemiological, natural or man-made disaster has occurred, none other than the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are engaged in its elimination.
When an emergency occurs, rescuers are the first to arrive at the scene of the tragedy. They always rush to help where their strength and fearlessness are needed, whether it be a flood, a blockage or a transport accident.
These are truly brave guys who save thousands of lives every day, risking their own. Well, think for yourself, how can you notcelebrate the Day of the Rescuer of the Russian Federation? Therefore, if there are rescuers among your relatives and friends, do not forget to congratulate them and wish them less emergencies in their lives.
By the way, Rescuer Day is marked not only by congratulations and awards to rescuers. Particular attention is paid to dogs that are involved in saving people.
In the modern world, indispensable helpers of people are used for rescue work after natural disasters and to search for victims - specially trained German shepherds. For such difficult work, this breed was not chosen by chance: they are better than all other dogs adapted to extreme weather conditions and perfectly amenable to the most rigorous training.
But to save people on the water, they use Newfoundlands that can work even in a very strong storm. This breed of dog keeps well on the water and understands its main purpose. Well, St. Bernards are considered specialists in rescuing skiers and climbers.
Many watch very touching moments when, during a water rescue, a rescue dog swims up to an injured or drowning person in a special vest. Further, the dog enables the person to hold on to himself, thus delivering him to land. There are cases when the victim on the water is unconscious, then the dog itself pulls him ashore. Isn't it an amazing sight?
Recently, many new technologies and techniques have come to the aid of rescuers, but the most efficient and effective method of searching andrescue on the water remains canine. After all, nothing can replace a dog's intuition and sense of smell: a four-legged rescuer has an enviable ability to "notice" the faintest smells and distinguish them among the many unnecessary ones. It has been proven that one rescue dog replaces the work of ten people.
And the greatest reward of the four-legged rescuer is the salvation of human life, and indeed of any other living creature. Just imagine the fact that if a dog fails to save a person or does not find living people, it becomes very depressed. Therefore, on Rescuer Day, it is very important to pay special attention to rescue dogs, rewarding not only people, but also our furry friends for their exploits.
