Monogamous is a type of marriage in which a person officially has only one partner.

The last point can hardly be attributed to the description of human relations. The number of divorces per year in our country often exceeds the number of marriages. So is it possible to talk about human monogamy? Our society can be formally called monogamous: a monogamous family - yes, monogamous relationships - no. But despite this, countries where monogamous relationships are encouraged are more progressive and safe, unlike polygamous countries, where men have to compete among themselves for women, who are greatly lacking in such conditions.
Some people are truly monogamous. They are arranged and educated in such a way that they recognize only one partner in their entire life. Such people do not start new relationships even after the death of their partner: they continue to love and wait for when it will be possible to reunite with their loved one again. This devotion is much higher and more conscious than the instincts of monogamous animals. But this happens infrequently in human society.
Monogamous is not a sentence to leadthemselves as society dictates. Whether you are monogamous or polygamous, the most important thing is to be honest with yourself and other people. No one is forcing you to be loyal to one person. You don't have to tie the knot. However, it is worth being honest with your partners, warning about your inclinations in a timely manner.
