After the dust is carefully knocked out of the carpet, it is sprinkled with sawdust, which by this point should still not lose moisture. Then the carpet is cleaned of sawdust with a brush. At the end, you should knock it out again.
• S alt. An even layer of ordinary table s alt is distributed over the surface of the carpet. Then the broom is moistened in warm soapy water and the s alt is carefully swept. Upon completion of the procedure, the carpet is again carefully beaten out.
• Snow. Thinking about how to clean the carpet at home, most will decide that this must be done in the warm season. However, winter, on the contrary, can be a good helper. A carpet spread with a pile down on pure snow must be properly knocked out, best of all with a rod. Then, returning it to its normal position, sweep it with a broom. This method is best used in frosty weather, when the snow is dry, because if it is wet, the effect of cleaning can not be expected.
