Many people would certainly like to have a cat in their apartment. After all, these affectionate, kind animals, by their very presence, are able to make the life of their owners much more colorful, interesting and happy. Communication with a cat or a cat distracts from sorrows and problems, brings joy and peace.
The breeds of these animals were bred just a huge amount. Even people who are allergic to cat hair can afford to have such a pet today. To be able to communicate with a fluffy pet and not experience any problems, you just need to get yourself a representative of a special breed. For example, it could be a Balinese hypoallergenic cat.
One of the distinguishing features of the animals of this breed is the complete absence of undercoat. And this, in turn, means that during the molt, such a pet will not leave matted balls of wool and fluff everywhere in the apartment.
Of course, the Balinese cat is not a completely allergy-free creature. Such breeds, unfortunately, are simply notexists. However, allergic reactions are still much less common when interacting with these animals than when in contact with most other cats.
Origin story
The owners of American nurseries were the first to breed this breed. It was called Balinese not at all by its place of origin, but primarily due to its elegance and sophistication. To some breeders, the habits and gait of these cats once seemed as graceful as those of the famous dancers of Bali.
Specially no one brought these beautiful animals. The breed appeared quite spontaneously. Officially, the Balinese cat is considered the "little sister" and mutation of the Siamese. The difference between these two breeds is only in the length of the coat.
The history of the origin of the Balinese cat is quite interesting. In the 20s of the last century in America, Siamese cats suddenly began to give birth to not quite ordinary kittens. Their coat was longer than that of their brothers and sisters. Of course, breeders culled such kittens and tried not to advertise their birth. After all, this called into question the purebredness of the fluffy parents and cast a shadow on the reputation of the catteries.
However, be that as it may, Siamese kittens with long hair looked pretty cute. And in the end, an interesting mutation interested some breeders. The matter ended with the fact that the Americans Helen Smith and Marion Dorsey began to cross these cats in order to develop a new beautiful breed. And soon effortsbreeders ended in success. In the 70s of the last century, the breed was officially registered.
