At the beginning of summer, I especially want a holiday. The sun is shining, the puddles have dried up and the mood is especially high. Against the backdrop of emerald foliage and anticipation of the holidays, the event dedicated to Children's Day is especially bright. In our country, it is celebrated on June 1.

Despite the often used addition "international", it is not connected with the UN Declaration on the Rights of the Child, adopted on November 20, 1959. In our country, the ancestor of the holiday was the signing of a similar document in Geneva (1924), where for the first time the issue of children's rights and the need to protect them was raised.

Due to the fact that both documents, both 1924 and 1959, were important and set the direction of social attitudes towards children around the world, in different countries the celebration of Children's Day is usually timed to coincide with the signing of one of them.

Holiday in the city

June 1 - Children's Day - activities involve diverse. Festivals and concerts, theatrical performances, competitions and relay races, bike rides and puppet shows - you can continue indefinitely. Everyone will be able to choose according to their taste.

To be successfulto celebrate Children's Day, events in Moscow are planned in advance. Having learned the holiday program at various venues (in theaters, museums, parks, etc.), you can choose the most interesting for your child. If he is mobile and eager to participate in competitions, park events will be a highlight for him. If he likes to contemplate, the stage program will please him to a greater extent. Moreover, the International Children's Day involves diverse events.

Holiday on your own

Have you decided to arrange a holiday for children on your own? Great idea! To start its implementation, you need to define several parameters of the holiday:

1. For whom will the Children's Day event be held? It will be boys, girls or a mixed company; what age, hobbies, level of sports, technical, intellectual training, etc.?

2. Amount of children. This parameter will influence the choice of venue and the number of people needed to prepare and hold the holiday.

3. Holiday Format:

• Without the participation of children. In this case, they are only spectators, and such an event will not require rehearsals or preliminary preparation of the kids.

• With partial participation of children. A great way to alternate teaching and performing (creative festival format).

• With the full involvement of children in the action (concerts by children's forces, quests, sports relay races)

Holiday: step by step

An event for Children's Day must be prepared in advance, having thought over the scenario, venue, equipment and decorations. When holding even a small event, get helpers (possibly from older children) who will turn on music, distribute balloons or collect drawings, etc. Due to the fact that events dedicated to Children's Day can be completely diverse, the general scenario may look like this:

1. Welcome speech, which will include congratulations. In the same block of the event, it is necessary to announce the program and sequence of events of the holiday, the start time of important blocks (performances, tea parties, raising the flag, etc.).
2. The main part. It will include a concert, performances, competitions, master classes.
3. The final part. Awarding of winners, children, helpers, tea drinking, congratulations, as well as a general flash mob, spectacular elements (fireworks, launching the Children's Day flag into the air, etc.) will also complete the holiday.

Script

If you are organizing a children's party for the first time, you can use, at least partially, the services of special agencies with the provision of animators, clowns, quest organizers, etc.

You can also do it on your own by downloading a holiday script on the Internet or inventing it based on previously seen or discussed spectacles. The latter option is more laborious, but morepreferred because only parents know which contests, topics, characters their children like best.

In the script, you must immediately make notes about the necessary equipment and design in order to have time to buy and prepare it in advance. Be sure to think over a plan B in case conditions change (rain, the arrival of a different number of children, etc.). Children's Day events can be different, consider the main ones.

Concert

Concert for June 1 - a simple and "chamber" form of leisure activities with children. From the equipment you need a stage, a curtain (optional), places for speakers and spectators, stationary musical instruments (piano), musical equipment, a microphone. Young talents bring shoes and clothes together with their parents.

There are several things to consider when preparing a script:

1. The smallest artists should be brought to the stage in the front rows so that they do not waste their ardor.

2. Speakers should be seated near the exit so as not to spend a lot of time on the exit.

3. If a phonogram is needed for a concert performance, it must be received by the organizer in advance and installed on the equipment (which is also desirable to have in 2 copies).

4. Diverse numbers can be alternated. Dances, music, tricks can go randomly or in whole blocks: music department, choreographic department, etc.

5. Provide space for dressing and applying make-up.

June 1 (Children's Day) events inthe form of concerts can be prepared quickly. One day will be enough, because you know very well the talents of your children.

Sport event

As opposed to a concert, you can prepare a sports festival for June 1st. After a long winter and a rainy spring, children will be happy to celebrate International Children's Day with activities to move. These can be bike rides, rollerblading, badminton (individual) or volleyball (team with older children).

The most common sporting event will be the team relay. It very easily adapts to the changing number of participants, transforms and changes with the replacement of competitions, as a rule, does not require much preparation. Many things can be made from scrap materials, such as a baton from a small plastic water bottle.

Surprisingly, sports events can also be held in a small area. To do this, you need to pick up "sitting" relay races and coordination exercises (driving a balloon on a ruler).

Quests

You can organize real adventures! This type of entertainment during which participants (not just children) must complete tasks. Quest - a game, the plot of which involves the completion of all tasks for a certain time or a specific number of tasks out of all possible (9 out of 10, etc.).

This type of event is gaining popularity because it can becompletely different: long and fleeting, with constant movement and motionless, intellectual and athletic. It can be on any topic!

Now it is possible to hold games in museums, botanical gardens, historical places. So the rest will turn out not only fun, but also educational.

Quests "get out of the room" are also actively developed. Their beauty lies in the possibility of holding on a tiny territory.

Which one to choose is up to you, based on the specific situation. Only our imagination can limit the variety.

Such a game is more difficult to prepare, script and conduct. However, you can get indescribable pleasure from it! If you have no quest experience, start preparing it a week before June 1st.

The most important thing

Whatever you decide to choose an event for Children's Day, you must remember the social significance of the holiday. The value of each child is extremely important, he has his own rights. The task of adults is to make childhood cloudless and happy. That is why on June 1 it is customary to help children in need of support especially actively: to hold concerts in children's hospitals, boarding schools for children with disabilities, to hold charity fairs of children's crafts, with the transfer of funds to the accounts of patients.

If your child helps and sympathizes with others from an early age, he grows up to be a sensitive and sympathetic person, a caring member of the family. It is very important to remember this.
