The size of the fence is determined by the breed of dog, but for a puppy, 2, 7x1, 8x1, 8 m is quite suitable. You can not buy it, but make a corral yourself from improvised material.

How to make your own dog pen

Before you start making a dog fence, decide on its size, shape and material (ideally it should be square). If your pen is designed for a puppy, then it is better to make it solid, without lattice walls. For an adult dog, fences in the form of a lattice orfence.

The structure must be stable and durable, withstanding multiple jumps. Basically, the wall with the door suffers. As a material, you can use laminated chipboard. It is good because the surface is smooth and easy to clean, and the dog will not be able to scratch his paw or hook his teeth. Try to make the bindings in such a way that the dog does not have the opportunity to chew on them. If you took plywood or wood as a material, then for a more aesthetic look, soak the dog pen with non-poisonous substances, such as Aquatex. The height of the walls depends on the breed of dog or puppy. As a rule, one of them is made a little shorter than the rest. There is a door on it, at a distance of 20 cm from the corner, and at the bottom - 18 cm from the floor. The door is attached to hinges and latches from the inside. You can put a plexiglass door so that the dog observes the events taking place in the room. Inside the corral, attach sides with a width of 7 to 9 cm. The best option for the floor is linoleum. Let the edges out and fasten to the walls in the form of a trough, this will allow the urine not to spread and protect the floor from scratches. You can also insulate the dog pen by placing insulation under the linoleum. A layer of newspapers or an absorbent diaper is placed on top of the linoleum, and then a rug is laid. This way your dog will have a dry and warm bedding.

Pen for little onesdogs or puppies

Arrange the pen so that it can be easily assembled and disassembled as needed. In this design, there should be a specially designated place for the toilet and an area for playing and relaxing. It is worth gradually accustoming a puppy to a paddock. Don't leave him alone for long periods of time, and don't wait for the dog to bark and whine. Do not let your pet get bored, give him toys or let him gnaw on a delicious bone. Believe me, your dog will appreciate the place where he is allowed to do whatever he wants, and will enjoy spending time there.
