In order to compete with dignity, the Lego analogue must match the functionality of the original, have a set of parts for assembling various designs and meet established quality standards. The market for children's toys has now reached a level where counterfeiting has a hard time.
Seemingly harmless children's designer, analogue of "Lego", can be fraught with many dangers for a child. And it's not just about damaging the delicate leg when the child steps on the part. Classic components that do not have a negative effect on the body are replaced by negligent manufacturers with toxic ones.

Options on the market
One has only to go to the store of children's toys, as the eyes immediately begin to diverge from the abundance of the proposed options. Classical behavior is expressed in two ways: “why pay more ifit's all the same" and "a quality product will not be cheap." In part, both statements are true, but the third is given. It's called the golden mean.
To create an objective picture, five of the most common Lego analogues were taken for analysis:
- BRICK (China, 144 parts).
- 1 TOY (China, 105 pieces).
- LIGAO (China, 170 pieces).
- COBI (Poland, 51 pieces).
- "City of Masters" (China, 190 parts).
The Russian Institute for Consumer Testing began testing the constructor, an analogue of Lego. The specialists went over the main parameters that affect the overall quality: the safety of chemical compounds, the quality of assembly of parts from the kit and their compliance with the instructions.
The cost of each set is approximately the same, but significantly (5-7 times) lower than Lego itself.
Safety
The first thing you should pay attention to if you decide to buy a Polish or Chinese equivalent of "Lego" is the presence of burrs and notches.
COBI, LEGO and LIGAO pleased with the appearance. No defects were seen on external examination. The "City of Masters" had a few small burrs. Brick and 1 TOY did not have a smooth surface. A large number of roughnesses are located at the junction of parts of the part. Breaking them is unrealistic, as they are thin. You have to carefully cut with sharp scissors, as there is a risk of surface damage - aftermost of the coating comes off with a burr.
In laboratory studies, no toxic substances were found in the designers of all manufacturers. The smell of products is also normal. All toys comply with GOST and are approved for use.
Toxicity index does not exceed the 15% barrier, which meets the requirements.
Battle check
Patiently inspecting the details. To do this, we add the same parts in a row. All but the 1 TOY cube are the same height and size. It is an order of magnitude longer, and the mount is different. So 1 TOY is incompatible with Lego.
Trying to assemble. Do not forget that the designer is intended primarily for children. Therefore, not only adults, but also teenagers were invited for testing.

Analogue "Lego" BRICK as close as possible to the original. The build quality is good, but sometimes you have to make an effort when connecting the parts. This is not critical, but a small child cannot do without the help of an adult. The toy is also easy to disassemble. Difficulties arise when detaching small parts.
COBI manufacturers were too smart with the instructions. There are many errors in it, and the description itself is difficult to parse. It is difficult to separate parts from each other. Some items are designed to move, but they don't move.
LIGAO did not deceive expectations. The instruction is simple and clear. Detailsholding up well.
"City of Masters" is the worst analogue of "Lego". There are not enough parts, the fastening is fragile in some, while others are difficult to combine.
Summarize
Fortunately, all samples do not contain toxic substances. Each analogue has its drawbacks, but the City of Masters has become the undisputed leader of the anti-rating. The appearance of parts, poor fit, complex and incorrect instructions leave a bad impression of the purchase.
The cost of the sets is about the same, but the "City of Masters" is cheaper, which affected the quality.
