Keeping guppies in an aquarium

Guppies are very harmless and peaceful creatures. They get along well with other fish, of course, we are not talking about predators here. They prefer the upper layer of the water space. They swim in flocks one after another.

Guppies are bold and agile. They snatch food from fish that are twice their size. They do not need special food, dry daphnia will do.

Guppy fry grow slowly. In order to accelerate their growth and development, sunlight, regular feeding and plenty of space are needed. That is, for breeding fry, a second aquarium is necessary. There, the fish will feel vigorous, active, will grow faster and gain the color of their body.
